Liam provided a great review of my heat pump. He checked among other things the functionality of the winter defrost mode on the heat pump as it had "under achieved" in the past, and he also confirmed that the auxiliary electric heating coils in the air handler all will fire up should we get extreme low temperatures where the heat pump can't wring any energy out of the outdoor air.
